Let’s Say I Just Started Writing On Medium

What will I do if I just started writing on Medium? Let’s just say, for a thought such as to write for others to read would mean I have something of value to give to readers. Now, Medium is an amazing app and I love to publish here daily. I love it absolutely. I’ve always wanted to write and now I’m doing it thanks to Medium and some other platforms I use.

Now, what am I going to do if I just started writing? Quickly; first thing I will do is to introduce myself.

Yes, this is important. It’s important to introduce yourself to the reading and writing community. Who are you and why should we care. I realize that I did not write anything about myself so I plan to write and share something of that sort and leave it here for you readers. I’ll write about myself and share more stories about my journey as a photographer. So, this is thing number one, write about yourself and your story.

Thing number two will be to make sure to bring value. Time is valuable. In fact, it is the most valuable asset men and women have. It’s limited. I think of money spent as time spent. When you realize that $400 spent means working a whole week without breaks, you will think twice before spending.

Time is what readers don’t have. Go straight to the point. Medium is not a book. It’s a blogging platform. Write a short article. Be clear, and concise but most importantly, let it not be too long. At most, 5 minutes!

You don’t want to waste the time of your readers. Just get to the point.

These are the two main things I’ll focus on. Share a story about myself and my journey and only share valuable content that I know with the audience I have here.

So... That being said, I’m going to be working on a new article about myself and let the Medium world know who is really behind the Artists Shire.
